xevel.org Neato XV-11 lidar, now with bluetooth! No motor control loop yet, but everything is in place to make it work, it’s only a few lines of code away With this small battery (120mAh) it should be able to run for less than an hour… I will upgrade for a 800mAh or more for the next tests. Code : github.com More info : github.com and I use a Seeeduino Mega (Arduino Mega clone) to stream part of the data recorded by Sparkfun (NoShield session) via the COM port of the PC. This way, the data coming are exactly the same that were recorded, and it comes via the same channel it would if I had access to the robot. Only had enough space in flash to store 31 full scans, thus you can see the loop…
